How should I store my caviar?
Caviar is highly perishable. It should be stored in cold, refrigerated temperatures (26°- 38° F) with minimum air exposure.
For the utmost quality, we recommend leaving the caviar in your fridge UNOPENED until you’re ready to consume it.
How long does my caviar stay fresh?
As we do not add preservatives this caviar is recommended to be consumed within the first 3 days of receiving the product for optimal flavor and quality.
UNOPENED tins have a refrigerated shelf life of 4-6 weeks.
Once opened, caviar can retain its freshness anywhere from 5 to 7 days.
Can Caviar be Frozen
Yes, but caviar should never be frozen as it loses its texture, pearl size, and flavor profile.
Caviar arrived but Ice and CryoGel Packs are melted. Is it still edible?
Short answer - Yes!
Our caviar is shipped with enough ice packs to keep the package cool for the duration of time it takes for it to arrive to your home.
The ice and cryogel packs are designed to be melted by the time you open your package.
